The world is hurting, and by becoming a member of our community, you can help. Airplane Mode helps us find ways to remain civically-engaged in a world that is becoming more and more unstable. Now more than ever, we need to find ways to cope, and reach consensus. By becoming a paid subscriber, you are directly funding my work, and joining a club that is working towards equality and peace for everybody.

I’ve been quiet lately, to focus on my actions in the non-virtual world, which feels like it’s been falling apart before our eyes, and deeply needs our help. I’ve been donating to groups focussed on providing aid to children on both sides who have become victims in these senseless attacks, and calling my representatives reminding them of the ceasefire that every humanitarian and UN agency is urging for. But I’ve also been itching to write to you, because as a paid subscriber, you’re the reason that our community exists and can withstand tragedy and conflict. I created Airplane Mode for moments like this, for us to have a space to collect our thoughts, and leave better equipped to live alongside each other in community.

I know that you’ve been through a lot lately, so I wanted to offer you something that could help you.
