senators who will never get pregnant block your right to birth control
38 republicans just played contraception cops, snatching away birth control access for millions of women.
The GOP is on a noble quest to make sleeping with men a global health hazard, and this week was no exception.
In the latest episode of "What Century Are We Living In?", Senate Republicans blocked the Right to Contraception Act, a law that would codify our right to contraception. It’s like they sat down and thought, "How can we make dating even more stressful for women?" By making birth control more controversial and harder to access, they’ve found the perfect way to turn a good time into a potential health crisis.
Thirty-eight Republicans voted against the bill, most of them were men. The only two Republican senators who voted for the bill, were women. Seven Republicans didn’t even show up to vote, and all of them were all men.
But wait until you hear about their excuse…
