This week I’m freezing my eggs with my friend Monica Padman but don’t worry because you can follow along because we’re nuts enough to record a whole podcast while we’re doing it!

But since it’s a full-on surgery, which comes with a lot of hormonal shifts, I’ll be recovering under a pile of blankets and Seinfeld reruns, I want to use this opportunity to share an essay I really enjoyed from Janna Meyrowitz Turner where she connects two of my favorite movements: the right for abortions rights and weed legalization. Janna is a dear friend and she’s an entrepreneur, advisor, speaker, and angel investor in early stage companies building a better future, including HeyJane, a telehealth clinic that provides abortion pills. She’s taught me a lot about how to think about abortion rights in a whole new way and I find her connections between decriminalizing marijuana and abortion fascinating. And since Airplane Mode is all about constructive solutions to big world problems, I thought you might like it too. I hope you enjoy it.
