Liz, I think your work is some of the most important cultural criticism of our time, and I recommend your book to anyone and everyone.
I really wonder why then it feels like Boy Problems sounds like "there's no room to think or feel or just to be unsure". Like, it feels as if tho all of the pauses or silences in the dialogue (or monologue) are deleted, and the speech is sped up to 1.5x. There's so much that's interesting and good and important but I feel like I'm trying to read storefront signs while cruising down the boulevard at 50mph.
I don't consume a lot of Internet, and I'm older (technically gen X), so I'm wondering if this is a stylistic thing or a millennial thing or an LA thing or all of the above. Are you sponsored by Ritalin?
Love your work. Happy holidays to you and all you love and care for. And may 2026 bring us stronger democracy, more resilient institutions, and a weakened manosphere! 🤞
Happy/Merry. Thanks for doing this. I mean it.
so grateful for you!!!
Love your work Liz. That Barbie meme is EXACTLY how I’m feeling right now.
UGH SAME BUT LIKE WE MADE IT!??
Thank you Liz. You’re awesome.
