I live in bear country and I gotta say I totally get this! Never been attacked by a bear. Not even close. Wish I could say the same about men. 🐻

A lot of men are good at hiding their personality flaws. When you first meet them, they are extremely friendly and polite. But later on you find out they're aggressive and domineering. Assholes in disguise.

I've met plenty of men like that. I feel sorry for girls who fall into that trap

Yes and along with other compounding issues at play that I’ve been also contemplating on that don’t help . I’ve just had a situation in which I was in tense conversation with one of my white female colleagues about their actions looking highly like misogynoir towards our Exec Director.

They want an offline conversation. She tells me that she feels unsafe around me because she believes that I think she is racist and honestly that statement hit me different as a Latino man. I’ve had little to no interaction with this person due to their telework. I asked what would help her feel safe and was told that I should be publicly supportive and agree with her, but there are times she is complicit in micro aggression and I’m only one of a handful of BIPOC people ☹️.

All that to say, I wish I could be a 🧸 and just chill in the Forrest.
