I don't think I would know what to do with a partner that was more focused on my needs and concerns than their own. And at the same time, I think I would AND I would get frustrated with it real quick. I like the (potential) exchange of support between two humans. I get this with my closest friends. While the prompts you sampled and the recalling of your experience with DAN were intriguing (and tempting), I know eventually I would toss myself back in the shark infested dating waters in search of a human equivalent....or a flesh colored imitation of Vision (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vision_%28Marvel_Cinematic_Universe%29) whichever came first.
Thanks for blazing that trail for us! I'd totally want to try out AI Dan, but know I'd never have the guts to do it. I'm not surprised it's an endless honeymoon-phase, focusing on us all of the time, but I can see that getting boring real quick. Yes, I think it's time for Dan to go.
