Nepo Baby Who Dodged the Draft Tries To Bully War Hero
A reality TV star tried to intimidate a wartime leader and it went exactly how you'd expect.
In a display that redefines irony, former President Donald Trump—a man who dodged military service five times—tried to act tough toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a man actually standing on the front lines of war.
Trump, who was so allergic to responsibility that he had his father buy him out of Vietnam, sat across from Zelenskyy in the Oval Office like some kind of wartime consigliere. Flanked by his sidekick, JD Vance (a guy who wrote one sad memoir and thinks it qualifies as suffering), Trump reportedly scolded Zelenskyy for being too demanding about military aid. Picture a man so weak he has meltdowns about mean tweets trying to talk tough to someone who has survived actual missile strikes. That was that White House meeting!
Adding to the absurdity, Vice President JD Vance, exuding the authority of a hall monitor no one respects, chastised Zelenskyy for his perceived lack of gratitude, snapping, “Have you said thank you once this entire meeting?” Yes, why hasn’t Zelenskyy thanked the guy who’s been president for a month and had nothing to do with the aid he received? WHYYYY
Not to be outdone in the theater of the absurd, Brian Glenn, a Fox News host known for his own questionable fashion and romantic choices, took it upon himself to critique Zelenskyy's attire during the meeting. A man whose style could only be described as “guy navigating a midlife crisis,” questioned the Ukrainian president's choice of military fatigues over a traditional suit, saying, "Why don't you wear a suit? You're at the highest level in this country's office, and you refuse to wear a suit." Zelenskyy's response was both dignified and pointed: "I will wear a costume after this war will finish." It's rich that Glenn, whose own wardrobe often resembles a clearance sale at a mid-tier department store, felt entitled to lecture a wartime leader on sartorial choices.
As I’ve written before, Trump, of course, is America’s premier cosplay tough guy. He loves to posture as a “strongman,” but the moment life demands any real discipline or sacrifice, he folds like a pool chair. And his new vice president, JD Vance, wasn’t far behind, acting like Zelenskyy was just another liberal elite trying to trick them into doing something noble. Their Oval Office stunt was the equivalent of two spoiled frat boys trying to haze an actual Navy SEAL.
Because here’s the thing: men like Trump and Vance love to yap about masculinity. They fetishize it. They write bad books and hold weird rallies about it. But what they actually practice is the opposite of the masculinity they claim to uphold. They cry about being victims every time they face the consequences of their own actions. And when confronted with a man who actually embodies courage and discipline—who has stood on the frontlines of war, they have a public (and staged) meltdown.
Zelenskyy stood there and took it. Not because he agreed with them, but because real men—real leaders—don’t need to prove their toughness to cowards. Meanwhile, Trump and Vance puffed up their chests, desperately trying to play alpha males in a room where everyone knew they weren’t.
It’s always the guys who wouldn’t last five minutes in a war zone that love to cosplay as generals. But no matter how much Trump and Vance LARP as warriors, the truth remains: one of these men is actually fighting for something. And it’s not the guy who needs a Diet Coke button to get through his day.

the white house treating the tate brothers better than the president of a war torn country
The only consolation is the entire world reacted to it in disgust on social media, the entire world showed their support to Zelenskyy and Ukraine on social media and New York took it outside to Times Square to protest. And we ended up with very good cartoons about their scene at the Oval room 🤭
