One of my son's best friends from college, a fine, brave young man, is fighting the fires in LA along with many of his fellow Ventura County Fire colleagues. I don't think the cares what race, gender, or political party the firefighter next to him is. He just wants to fight the fire. The arrogance, hypocrisy, and divisiveness shown by republicans is reprehensible.
