I've never seen "precedented times" to know what those might look like, but the sun has been rising for over four million years, it will rise again tomorrow. We can get through this just like we have every other unprecedented event.
Taking actual action keeps me resilient. Yes to hope (I'm almost perpetually hopeful, against all odds, and I do think that's a strength), but also yes to *creating* hope by showing up and doing what we can. And that will look different for everyone: from writing this newsletter, to marching in the streets, to speaking up when your great-aunt Lori starts in on the conspiracy theories. But doing something instead of nothing...I feel that's what keeps me resilient.
And in addition to that...finding joy! Continuing to find places or people or things that I thoroughly enjoy, in spite of all the insane things that are happening right now.
It's genuinely insane that the first generation of Americans in at least 100 years who will finish with less wealth than their parents is so continuously mocked. Nobody works hard harder for less than millennials.
what keeps you resilient?
Spite. I refuse to let these assholes win.

and despite being mocked we persist in our optimism!!!
